Returning Students, Is Your Flat Ready for the Year Ahead?

Most Scottish universities start their new terms this month, which means thousands of students moving into new properties.

Now that you’re over the fresher’s flu, signed-up for courses and the business end of the term has begun, it’s time to make sure that you won’t have any nasty surprises from your flat in the upcoming year.

Getting the keys and getting moved in doesn’t mean that you’re property is ready for the whole term. In fact, there’s likely a few things that need sorting before you can rest easy.

Working out your deposit, all of your utility bills, television licence and much more is imperative when you move into your new flat.  What you need is a checklist!
