COVID-19 and How you can help!
The Lettingweb foundation exists to raise funds and deploy them to registered charities working to combat homelessness in Scotland.
We contribute 5% of our profits quarterly to the foundation, selecting and donating to charities and ensure we believe achieve the best social return.
Now, more than ever, charities need our support in order to continue the vital work they do.
Below are a number of charities that The Lettingweb Foundation is supporting during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
We know that this is a difficult time for many financially, but if you can, please consider supporting these charities either by donation. If you can’t support them financially then simply sharing their initiatives helps too.
Lettingweb and The Lettingweb Foundation are long-time supporters of Social Bite and their mission to provide food, support and employment to people affected by homelessness.
Social Bite have re-purposed their entire organisation to create a nationwide food delivery service – focussing on getting supplies out in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee. Our kitchens, cafes and teams have been entirely re-deployed to produce and deliver food and supplies to those who need them most for the duration of this outbreak. Their team are working with partners throughout Scotland to ensure that food and essential supplies can reach the following people
- Homeless People
- Families that were relying on free school meals and now have no access
- Those who have been made redundant due to the crisis and are in food poverty
Social Bite are asking for support to produce and distribute over 4000 food and essentials packs every day of the week for as long as is needed. We were delighted to be able to donate to this.
