Lettingstats Summer 2015 Report Published
We are delighted to bring you the Summer edition of our Lettingstats report, which can be accessed using this link.
This quarter’s edition reflects one of stable or declining rents in the major city areas of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, despite the increased demand for properties.
This Summer Report focuses on rent levels in the major cities and ultimately questions whether the introduction of Rent Controls are logical.
From a Lettingweb perspective, with the increasing volume of enquiries per property, we now look towards a future where we can send our members an enhanced enquiry allowing our members to select the best possible candidate based on the information we provide – thus saving an agent time when selecting tenants.
In our report, we show that rents have barely risen across the major Scottish cities, despite an increasing demand for rental accommodation. We highlight the continuing importance of better quality tenant enquiries and question the value of proposed Rent Controls.
